Go4TMS - Intermodal Transport

In a context of sustainable mobility and reducing the ecological footprint, more and more flows of goods are being transferred from road to other means of transport such as rail, inland shipping and air. Transport companies that use different transport modes, need a transport software application that makes this possible.

With Go4Intermodal enabled in Go4TMS, new transport files are created quickly and efficiently. It is possible that transport modes may be changed several times between the loading location and the final destination. Goods in containers and/or trailers can be followed along the entire route via predefined shipping lines (short-sea transport) or railway lines (train transport). Bookings are automatically forwarded from Go4Intermodal and you have a clear view of the associated costs.

The graphical planning tool is directly linked to this data and supports you in timely planning of pre- and/or post-transport by road. Each planner has the ability to work within its own geographic zone on available assignments and resources.

All these actions may cause various additional surcharges that are automatically calculated via the functionality of tariffs for both customer (sales invoicing) and shipping, railway and airway companies (purchase invoicing). Incoming invoices can be checked from an automatic budgeting of shipping, train or air freight costs.
